launches 128CH Network Decoder

Hanwha Techwin, a leader in global security, launches its video wall monitor network decoder, SPD-1660R.
The new decoder is a device that supports monitoring of videos from the Internet on regular monitors without special devices. The package consists of the decoder body (SPD-1660R) and decoder board (SPD-260B).
The decoder supports 4K resolution HDMI and Full HD resolution VGA, and it features 8 slots for installing boards. Each decoder board supports up to 2 monitors, allowing the system to display up to 16 monitors simultaneously. Each monitor supports split screens, up to 16, and camera registration supports a maximum of 128 channels.
The layout sequence feature can periodically change up to 20 different layout videos with configurations in customized split-screen mode, allowing efficient monitoring of various locations from a single monitor. It also supports a monitor merge function to display a single video image on multiple monitors for more detailed monitoring through a larger video image.
Furthermore, videos can be managed conveniently with SSM, Hanwha Techwin’s unified management software, and standalone monitoring is available through the Web Viewer. PC screens can also be displayed on the monitor, and various information, such as maps, can be displayed in conjunction.
Hanwha Techwin stated that, “The ability to implement simultaneous, multi-channel, and 4K high-quality video monitoring will allow detailed monitoring in unified control centers.”
