Global security company Hanwha Techwin showed off its latest video surveillance products, solutions, and technologies at the ‘ISC West 2019,’ the largest US security exhibition held in Las Vegas from April 10 to 12, 2019.
During the show, Hanwha Techwin highlighted its entire line-up of Wisenet P, X, Q, and T series as well as newly launched products. Among them, Wisenet X Plus with modular design and multi-directional cameras featured with more than two lenses in one camera were highly praised by the attendees. Wisenet X Plus provides intuitive and easy installation through modular design and magnetic lock. It saves installation and maintenance time for system integrator with the module easily detached for upgrade or servicing. Multi-directional cameras adopt more than two lenses in one camera to monitor multiple directions simultaneously, which is ideal for city surveillance monitoring.
During the exhibition period, Hanwha Techwin, one of the founding members of the newly established global alliance, the Open Security & Safety Alliance (OSSA*), invited 20 industry insiders from Korea’s leading communication and security companies in a bid to lead the development of convergence security solutions.
A source at Hanwha Techwin said “With the advent of the latest ICT technologies such as AI and IoT, security has never been more important and there is a growing need in the industry for convergence in technologies and products.” He added, “Hanwha Techwin will build upon our outstanding Wisenet technologies to lead convergence in video surveillance technologies and offer new values and service models to our customers.”
With the sales in the North America market up by over 40% last year thanks to large-scale retail projects, stronger product competitiveness, and other big projects signed in the past, the US market is critical in driving Hanwha Techwin’s growth. Hanwha Techwin will continue its rapid growth in the market this year by attending the show and leveraging its long-standing relationship in presales driven by its competitive technologies and products.
* OSSA: Five founding companies (Bosch, Hanwha Techwin, Milestone Systems, Pelco by Schneider Electric and VIVOTEK) established the Alliance. The Alliance is a non-profit, non-stock collaboration initiative that brings together like-minded organizations in order to create a framework outlining a common standardized platform for security and safety solutions.
