Hanhwa Techwin Launches 7.3-Megapixel Panoramic Camera

Global security company Hanwha Techwin is launching the PNM-9020V, a 7.3-megapixel panoramic camera capable of displaying four sensor inputs as a single 180° panoramic video.

The Wisenet P Series PNM-9020V features four 2-megapixel sensors that minimize video quality loss and build a single panoramic video from each sensor video. It is also capable of setting rules between sensor boundary areas which allow event settings including virtual line detection and motion detection.

In particular, it supports heat map functionality which provides efficient information forcommercial and retail shop operations through customer flow analysis and stay time analysis.

Furthermore, it supports the H.265 format and Hanwha Techwin developed WiseStream which enables greater compression efficiency for more efficient storage space management. It also has various features for user convenience such as different monitoring modes and an HTML5 base plug-in free application.

It is also capable of outdoor operations with the acquisition of IP66/IK10 dust/water proof certifications, and the ability to accommodate different accessories that make user installation more convenient.

With the launch of the panoramic camera PNM-9020V, Hanwha Techwin expects that it will be able to satisfy all types of customer demand for venues requiring wide ranges of monitoring such as urban surveillance, industrial districts, parking lots and stadiums.
