– Strengthening its position in the U.S. security market by showcasing the company’s latest video surveillance products and solutions

Global security company Hanwha Techwin (CEO Yeon-Chul Kim) recently participated in ‘Global Security Exchange (GSX) 2019,’ which was held in Chicago from September 8 to 12 and displayed the company’s latest video surveillance solutions and products.
The ‘GSX 2019’ exhibition inherits the history of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), the world’s largest association for security management professionals where security professionals and industry-leading solution providers from across the private and public sectors come together to share new technologies and trends.
During the exhibition, Hanwha Techwin announced its newest multi-sensor cameras and Wisenet WAVE 4.0. In addition, Hanwha Techwin presented its specialty solutions which utilize cutting-edge technologies in verticals such as smart retail, further strengthening its position as a trusted comprehensive security solution company in the U.S. security market.
One multi-sensor CCTV camera is equipped with two or more lenses, which have already received an overwhelmingly positive response from the global market. The new multi-sensor cameras (PNM-9084QZ, PNM-9084RQZ, PNM-9085RQZ) feature motorized varifocal lenses for the precise control of focal length, angle of view and multi-directional zoom. Each sensor supports remote PTRZ (pan, tilt, rotate, zoom) control and embeds Hanwha’s own System on Chip (SoC), Wisenet.
Wisenet WAVE 4.0 is the company’s leading Video Management System (VMS) which has been catching the eyes of customers thanks to its ability to create tailored layouts for the user’s environment, reliability and ease of use. This upgraded solution also has Queue Management (Queue-meter), Shock Detection and Temperature Change Detection from thermal cameras.
The Wisenet Q mini Series, a retail-specialized solution equipped with Business Intelligence features, goes beyond simple video monitoring to deliver marketing insights to store managers along with a convenient compact size perfect for any store interior.
What’s more, Hanwha Techwin presented its specialty solutions in several vertical sectors, such as AI cameras, smart cities, smart transport, etc., that have been in the spotlight recently. The company introduced its new Pentabrid hybrid video recorder (Pentabrid DVR), which allows both analog and IP cameras to connect to the same unit, and a new 32-megapixel 8K network camera.

“Hanwha Tehchwin’s latest video surveillance products and solutions unveiled at ‘GSX 2019’ received an enthusiastic response from U.S. security industry officials,” said a source at Hanwha Techwin. “It has served as an opportunity to reinforce our position as a trusted global security company in the U.S.”
