      • I am using a SD class PTZ camera. Can I use the PTZ camera with DC voltage?

      Hanwha Techwin PTZ cameras are designed to operate with AC24V power.

      It is recommended to use the adapter included in the package. Using DC boltage may cause issues on the camera.

      If you have installed the camera some time before, it is possible that there are dust collected on the lens and transparent cover.

      Please check for contaminants and clean the surface with a clean cloth. Also check whether moisture has entered the lens and cover and remove them accordingly.

      Also, the lense focus could be off. Use the focus control lever to check whether to lens focus is off or not.

      It is a phenomenon that occurs commonly on box type cameras with separate lenses.

      1. Issue
         -  The focus is out at the night if it is set during the day, and vice versa.

      2. Cause

         - It is caused by the focal point location shift according to wave length difference between visible light and IR light.

      3. Solution

           - It is recommended to use IR light lens that reduces the difference of wave length between visible light and IR light.

           - It is recommended to use a camera featuring simple focus function which readjusts the focus according to day and night.

            The 2 measures above are the most effect methods to reduce the focus difference occurred due to day and night shift.

      • It is difficult to connect the cable between the lens and camera.

      Fit the lens onto the mounting screw of the camera and turn the lens clockwise until it completely stops at the end.
      Then, turn it counterclockwise to the desired position.
      It allows the rotation angle to be a maximum 340˚ if dismounting is not required.
