New and Innovative AI solutions at intersec Dubai 2023

Hanwha Techwin promotes “New and Innovative AI Solutions”

at intersec 2023.

PANGYO – 13, December, 2022 – As a key player in video surveillance market, Hanwha Techwin have successfully participated intersec 2023 from January 17th to 19th at intersec Dubai 2023 – booth No. SA-E27. Hanwha Techwin had the strongest presence at intersec among its key competitors.

This year, Hanwha Techwin will mainly promote its “AI product” which is a Hanwha Techwin’s broad product line that can detect and classify person, face, vehicle, and license plate in real time. The AI technology was successfully blended into its P and X series product line, already being active in the market. With edge-based AI, the data is analyzed by the camera first, and subsequently sent to the server. This reduces the burden of transferring and storing large amounts of data to a server, thereby increasing efficiency, saving time, and reducing server costs typically required to analyze data. It increases event monitoring accuracy by reducing false alarm, classifies target objects with attributes (attributes feature only available on P series AI cameras) and AI search capability. In addition, AI fisheye, AI multi-sensor and Q series AI camera will be unveiled at intersec 2023.

In its exhibition at intersec Dubai 2023, Hanwha Techwin will showcase products that are particularly suited to surveillance needs in the urban Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, including fallen waste detection, intelligent traffic solution, and more. The features are tailored to meet the challenges of operators in the region’s cities.

This product orientation demonstrates the importance of the MENA region to Hanwha Techwin. “The MENA region is a crucial priority for Hanwha Techwin and our leadership position for AI in the video security industry,” said SungJae Lee, Managing Director of Hanwha Techwin Middle East FZE.

The company has been an early mover in crafting and adopting the advantages of AI in the surveillance field, which will allow its leadership to grow moving forward. “Hanwha Techwin established its AI lab early on to gain competitiveness in AI and develop relevant technologies. Hanwha Techwin will make continual investments in advanced AI-based open platform to help customers in the MENA expand and utilize the solutions they need,” Lee said.
